APS traffic flow control plates are available as standard or HGV grade. Standard versions are suitable for use with cars and light goods vehicles, while the heavy duty model should be specified for HGVs.
The units are designed to be mounted into concrete foundations and create a permanent heavy duty solution to manage traffic flow and direction control. Designed in heavy gauge mild steel these products provide years of reliable service. The plates are fitted with rubber buffers to decrease operational noise to very low levels.
Due to the recessed mounting method, adequate drainage must be provided when installing the units, and traffic speeds should be limited to 5mph – our speed reduction ramps are perfect to achieve this.
